Welcome to the Metro Media Ministers Association (MMMA)  web site.  Our wonderful association is comprised of faithful men and women who are serving the Lord full time in Southern Baptist Churches as the primary leader of that church's media ministry.  MMMA has a fundamental goal of serving our members.  Even though we all love Media Ministry, it is often fast-paced, intense, stress-filled, and exhausting... so MMMA serves as a way for all of us to bear one another's burdens.  We do this through prayer, encouragement, idea-sharing and inspiration. 

Twice each year, we encourage our members to meet together.  Our Annual Summer Meeting is scheduled for July 19-22, 2011 in Dallas, Texas... so mark your calendars!  We also have a winter meeting as a part of the National Religious Broadcasters Convention each year... but our meetings are just the beginning.  We have an extremely active Google Group that allows us to quickly share ideas, solve problems, and encourage each other.  There is a real energy that comes from knowing that you are not alone in ministry... there are others who really do understand the struggles you face and have a desire to help you and encourage you.

I'm Wes Hartley, the current President of MMMA, and I serve as Media Pastor at Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall, TX.  I have the privilege to serve along side our Vice President, John Patterson, who serves at First Baptist Church, Naples, FL as Associate Pastor of Media & Technology.  Our Information Officer is Chad Conger who serves as Minister of Media at First Baptist Church in Hendersonville, TN.
