Welcome to the Metro Media Ministers Association (MMMA)  web site.  Our association is made up of men and women serving the Lord full time in Southern Baptist Churches as Media Ministers and Directors.  They understand the power of electronic media in the effort to introduce people to a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ.

We exist to serve our members... a significant portion of our existence is devoted to prayer, encouragement of each other, and inspiration.  Our annual summer conference always reflects that goal.  We also have a winter meeting during the National Religious Broadcasters Convention.  In addtion to our conferences, we stay in touch through our Google Groups connection.  The online discussions can last for days!  The relationships we develop together go deep and I invite you to consider membership.  Click here for qualifications and contact me if I can be of assistance.

I attended my first Metro conference in 1997 in Branson, MO at the invitation of a fellow media minister.  I was immediately accepted, nourished by new friendships, and challenged to do a better job of leading my ministry.  The members of this organization are a significant influence in my life and I deeply treasure the friendships I've made.

It is my honor to serve our organization as President.  Our Vice President is Darrell Cothran, from First Baptist, North Spartanburg, SC.

Our 2010 Metro Media Ministers Conference will be July 20-23 in Brentwood, TN.  Our host is Steve Smith, Communications Minister at Brentwood Baptist Church.  As a past Metro President and site host, Steve brings a wealth of experience and understanding to the conference this year.
